Dr. Banik is a Professor and Senior Researcher at the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has been involved in research, teaching, mentoring, advising, public service and administration for the past 30 years. He was a Tenured full Professor and first President’s Endowed Professor at the University of Texas-Pan American and the Vice President of Research & Education Development of Community Health Systems of South Texas, USA. Dr. Banik has been awarded several million dollar grants by US NIH, US NCI and Private Foundation of Texas. Importantly, he has published and presented approximately 892 papers, book chapters, reviews, books, perspectives and patented numerous discoveries. He has received many national and international prestigious awards in diverse areas of higher education. Currently, he is the editor-in-chief of 10 international journals.

Christopher Brett is a professor of chemistry in the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Research interests include nanostructured electrode materials, electroactive polymers, corrosion inhibition, green chemistry, electrochemical sensors and biosensors, with applications in environment, foods and pharmaceuticals. He is Director of the Electroanalysis and Corrosion Laboratory, Instituto Pedro Nunes, the technological innovation link between the University of Coimbra and the industrial sector.

He is Vice-President (President Elect) of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) 2018-19, having been an elected member of the IUPAC Bureau 2012-17, and President of the Physical and Biophysical Division 2006-7. He was President of the International Society of Electrochemistry in 2007-8 and President of the Analytical Chemistry Division of the Portuguese Chemical Society in 1996-9 and 2003-5.

Marcello R. B. Andreeta received his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil (2001). In 2002 he joined the faculty staff of Physics Institute of São Carlos, São Paulo University (USP-Brazil). In 2013 he became a professor at the Materials Engineering Department of Federal University of São Carlos (DEMa-UFSCar). He published more than 50 research articles in laser-heated materials processing (crystal growth and Glass crystallization). Currently he develops new glasses and crystalline compounds for optical and electronic devices at DEMa-UFSCar, São Carlos, SP, Brazil."

Dr. Bredikhin is Leading Scientist of Institute of Applied Physics of Russian Academy of Sciences. He has nearly 50 years of experience in the research in frontier regions of science: crystal growth, their investigation and applications, laser nonlinear spectroscopy, laser nanotechnology and laser applications in medicine. Dr. Bredikhin holds a Ph.D. in radiophysics (1977) from Lobachevsky State University (Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia) and Dr. of Sci. in Phys. & Math (2011) from Prokhorov Institute of General Physics (Moscow, Russia). Dr. Bredikhin has authored more than 100 scientific publications, 9 patents; he is winner of Russian Government State Prize in science & technology (1998).

In 1999 Dr. Alexey Bubnov has received his PhD degree in Condensed Matter Physics & Materials Science from the Charles University in Prague. Since 1995 he worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences and, subsequently, since 2000 served as Staff Scientist. He was an invited professor at Moscow State University within 2010-2013. Since 2002 Dr. Bubnov is appointed as an independent expert of the European Commission serving with evaluation exercises as an expert/rapporteur/vice-chair on several dozens of Calls under FP6, FP7 and H2020 programs. Dr. Bubnov has contributed greatly to the understanding of molecular structure – mesomorphic property relationship of liquid crystalline materials possessing the self-assembling behaviour. Dr. Bubnov research expertise and activities are related to material science, soft matter and physical chemistry of organic self-assembling materials of various shape and functionality, in particular: functional liquid crystals (LC), LC monomers/polymers/elastomers and related subjects including nano-composites and nano-materials. He is an author and co-author of about 110 articles in referred/impacted journals. Dr. Bubnov has presented the results of his research at more than 100 international conferences by about 280 invited/oral/poster presentations and has delivered about 35 invited lectures outside conferences.

Dr. Chen obtained a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from National Tsing Hwa University, Taiwan. In 2002, he joined National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, as a faculty member of Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering. He is a Distinguished Professor of National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan. He has published more than 130 scientific papers and is a named inventor of 80 issued patents.

Ed Lai obtained his Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Florida (U.S.A.) in 1982. He has been serving as a full Professor at Carleton University since 1999. He possesses 36 years of research experience in biochemical, environmental and pharmaceutical analytical chemistry. He serves as a fellow of the Chemical Institute of Canada. He has contributed 141 scientific papers, and presented 137 talks/posters at conferences. His research uses photochemical, electrochemical, chromatographic and electrophoretic techniques to develop new analytical methods for the enhancement of sensitivity and selectivity.

Kota Hanumantha Rao is a Professor at the Department of Geoscience and Petroleum, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway. Dr. Rao is also an Adjunct Professor at the School of Minerals Processing and Bioengineering, Central South University, Changsha, China. Prior to NTNU, he worked at the Division of Mineral Processing of Luleå University of Technology (LTU) in Luleå, Sweden. He has authored more than 175 scientific papers published in peer-reviewed high impact journals and international conference proceedings. Dr Kitson is an Investigator of Radiochemistry at Almac, UK. He has over 15 years of experience in the synthesis of carbon-14 labelled compounds. Dr Kitson is the Editor-in-Chief of Current Radiopharmaceuticals published by Bentham Science Publishers and the Journal of Diagnostic Imaging in Therapy. He has published over 45 research, reviews and commercial articles in the area of carbon-14 synthesis and medical imaging. His contribution to radiochemistry was acknowledged by winning the 2006 Wiley Journal of Labelled Compounds and Radiopharmaceuticals Young Scientists Award. Since, 2007 he has been a Member of the Scientific Committee for the International Isotopes Society (IIS) UK group.

Dr. Richard J. Spontak is an Alumni Distinguished Professor of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. He received his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering (with honors/high distinction) from the Pennsylvania State University in 1983 and was later awarded the Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering (under the supervision of Mike Williams) from the University of California at Berkeley in 1988. Spontak has published over 275 research papers, and his work has been featured on 20 journal covers.His primary research interests related to the phase behavior and morphology/property development of nanostructured polymers, polymer nanocomposites, electron microscopy, and stimuli-responsive (electroactive and shape-memory) media.

I’m Chemist, Crystallographer, interested in hybrids, MOF’s for optoelectronics, energy storage and conduction. I’m using mainly single crystal and powder diffraction for solving new crystal structures and QPA. The powerful spectroscopic techniques (IR, PL, Raman…) and the thermodynamic experiments (DTA, TGA, DCS…) are often unavoidable to validate and proof the structural investigation results. Discovering new smart materials endowed with original behaviour is probably the dream of every researcher team in materials science.

I’m teaching crystallography, thermodynamics, chemistry and powder diffraction (Rietveld). Since 2014, we organize once a year the “Spring Tunisian Rielveld Workshop” in the Engineering School of Nabeul.

Dr. Guerrero obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona. He has been serving at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in Barcelona and is currently Professor of Research and leader of the Chemical Ecology Unit. He has also served as Head of the Department of Biological Organic Chemistry at the Institute of Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (CSIC), and as Councilor of the International Society of Chemical Ecology. Professor de Oliveira has obtained his MSc. in Inorganic Chemistry from UNESP, Araraquara, Brasil and his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from University of São Paulo, Brazil. Currently Prof de Oliveira is full professor in the Chemistry Department at Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil, working on the applications of vibrational spectroscopy, mainly Raman spectroscopy, in model and real systems; he has published about 200 scientific publications.

Dr. Alok Mittal has earned highest academic degree, Doctor of Science (D.Sc.). He is an alumnus of University of Roorkee (Presently, I.I.T., Roorkee) and obtained M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from there. Presently he is working as Professor, Department of Chemistry, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal and possesses a long academic, research and administrative experience. Thies Thiemann obtained a PhD degree (1992) from the University of Hamburg. He was Associate Professor at Kyushu University (1997 – 2009). In 2009, he moved to his present position as Professor of Chemistry at the United Arab Emirates University. His interests include novel organic synthetic methodology, heterocyclic and steroidal chemistry, and synthetic electro- and photochemistry. Dr. Huan-Tsung Chang obtained his Ph.D. degree (1994) from Iowa State University, USA. Since 2001, Dr. Chang is Professor in the Department of Chemistry at National Taiwan University, Taiwan. Prof. Dr Magda Ali Akl (Mrs.) has received her PhD in MANSOURA University (EGYPT) during the period of 1990. Currently, she is working as PROFESSOR of ANALYTIICAL CHEMISTRY in MANSOURA University (EGYPT). She has successfully completed her Administrative responsibilities as HEAD of Environmental Analysis Lab., Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, Egypt, Member of Mansoura University NanoCenter Administrative Council and Chief of the Scientific Committee of Mansoura University NanoTechnology Center. Ahmed Al-Amiery (h-index= 34), is a Professor at University of Technology. Prof. Al-Amiery is the head of Energy and Renewable Energies Technology Center, University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq. He has over 180 scientific papers and projects either presented or published and 20 patents. He is an internationally expert in many areas of applied chemistry (Synthesis of Organic Molecules and applied these molecules as corrosion inhibitors, antioxidants, scavengers, antimicrobial and anti-cancer). Hakan Arslan is an Professor of chemistry at Mersin University, Mersin, Turkey. He holds a B.S. degree in chemistry (1993) from Erciyes University, Kayseri, Turkey, an M.S. degree in chemistry (1995) from Erciyes University, and a Ph.D. degree in chemistry (1998) from Nigde University. Prof. Yasser Momtaz Zaki Ahmed completed his M. Sc in Chemistry from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He further obtained PhD in the same subject from the same institution in 1997. He is presently serving as a Head of Electronic and Magnetic Materials Lab at Central Metallurgical R&D Institute, Cairo, Egypt. He has got award of the scientist of the year from IBC- England in 2009. He is professionally associated with different societies such as Egyptian Scientific Professional Syndicate, American Ceramic Society and Poland Mineral Processing Society. Mojtaba Bagherzadeh completed his BSc at the Department of Chemistry, University of Kashan in applied chemistry in 2002. Then, he continued his graduate studies at the Department of Chemistry, University of Isfahan (UI) where he completed his MSc in 2004 with excellent degree. He is completed his PhD in electroanalytical chemistry on functionalization of self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) to develop new sensors for recognition of inorganic and biological species, mainly ions, by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Dr. Mannix P. Balanay received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Kunsan National University in Korea. After his graduation, he was hired as a Research Professor at the same university. Dr. Balanay is from the Philippines and before coming to Korea, he was an Instructor at Siquijor State College and Silliman University. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in Chemistry at Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan. Dr Hélène C. Bertrand is an assistant professor at Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC, Paris, France) in the Laboratoire des Biomolécules (http://www.chimie.ens.fr/?q=en/accueil_umr_7203). Her main research activities concern the synthesis and evaluation of metal complexes for imaging and biological activities. She obtained her PhD in molecular chemistry at UPMC in 2008. Born in Italy, Oliviero Carugo studied Chemistry at the University of Pavia. Initially interested in structural chemistry and structure correlation studies, he extended progressively his scientific interests towards structural bioinformatics and structural biology. After research experiences at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (Heidelberg, Germany) and at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (Trieste, Italy), he presently teaches Structural Bioinformatics and Chemistry at the University of Pavia, Italy and at the University of Vienna, Austria.

Zhong-Ning Chen received his PhD in Chemistry from Nanjing University in 1994. Since 2001, He has been a professor in Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was selected as a member of “Hundreds Talents” by Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2000. He received the prize fund for outstanding young scholars from National Science Foundation of China in 2006. His research fields include structural chemistry, photophysics and photochemistry, organometallic wires and switches, and organic light-emitting devices. Dr. Han-Wen Cheng received her Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Hunan University, and was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Chemistry at State University of New York at Binghamton. Her research focuses on synthesis, characterization and application of nanoparticles as bioanalytical nanoprobes and functional materials. Her broad interests are in the interdisciplinary areas focusing on sensors, biosensors, and medical devices.

Biography: Professor Dr. Nasrallah M. Deraz received B. Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Physical Chemistry (Solid State, Surface Chemistry and Catalysis) in 1990, 1996 and 1999, respectively, from College of science, Zagazig University, Egypt. However, he received B. Law in 2005 from College of Laws, Zagazig University, Egypt. He joined Physical Chemistry Department, Laboratory of Surface Chemistry and Catalysis, National Research Centre, Dokki, Cairo, Egypt, since 1992 till now. He was awarded a Post- doctoral fellowship to Institute of Materials Science, Structure Research, Darmstadt University of Technology, Germany. He joined Chemistry Department, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, since 2009-2013. Professor Deraz researches focus on various aspects of advanced nanomaterials, surface chemistry and catalysis for industrial and environmental applications. Deraz has published more than 100 papers in refereed journals with H- index of 24.

Dr Dierking is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) at the School of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Manchester, UK. He has spent more than two decades of research into the physics of liquid crystals and liquid crystal based composites. Prior to joining the University of Manchester, he was at Darmstadt University, Germany, Chalmers University, Sweden, and the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, USA. Dr. Dipak Kumar Dutta is presently serving as an Emeritus Scientist at CSIR, NewDelhi. He completed his B. Sc (Hons) and M. Sc in Chemistry. He further obtained PhD in the same field. He has been recognized with awards such as Bronze Medal from Chemical Research Society of India, CSIR Technology Award for Innovation 2010 and Durlabh Deka Memorial Award. Dr. Claude Estournès, CNRS Research Director (http://www.researchgate.net/profile/Claude_Estournes) is leader of the team “Nanocomposites et Nanotubes de Carbone (NNC) at CIRIMAT in Toulouse. Its main activities are devoted to the synthesis, preparation and densification of materials (with nano and micro scales, composite, multilayered system, alloys, ceramic, polymer, glass etc…) by "Spark Plasma sintering" technology and to the development of novel, specific and multi-functional architectures (FGM, micro- and meso-porous composite structure, sandwiches ...) to tailor specific properties.

Dr. Agnishwar Girigoswami is an Indian Professor at Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE). Mohammad Hasanzadeh is an assistant professor of pharmaceutical analysis at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences at Drug Applied Research Center. He studied Electrochemistry at K. N. Toosi University of Technology (Tehran, Iran) and gained his M.S.c in 2008. In 2010, he founded Drug Applied Research Center and worked at that center as the PhD candidate for 4 years. He has published more than 120 original research papers in peer-reviewed journals. Recently, he has focused on the application of advanced nano-materials towards biosensing and healthcare.

Farid Jamali-Sheini received his M.Sc. degree at the Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran, Iran, in 1998. He earned his Ph.D. for research activities in Puna University, India on optical and field emission properties of ZnO nanostructures (doped and undoped) in 2010. He became the head of advanced surface engineering and nanomaterials research center in 2014. He is an associate professor of physics at 2015, all in Islamic Azad University, Ahvaz Branch, Ahvaz, Iran. Dr. Floriano Paes Silva Junior is a Full Researcher, Head of the Laboratory of Experimental and Computational Biochemistry of Drugs, and Coordinator of the Bioassays and Drug Screening Platform, IOC, FIOCRUZ. He is currently the P.I. of several research projects on drug discovery (including schistosomiasis and other neglected diseases) funded by the CNPq, FAPERJ, Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV) and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (FBMG). Dr T. Maiyalagan is an Associate Professor of Chemistry & Research Institute at SRM University. He received his Ph.D in Physical chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and completed postdoctoral programs at the Newcastle University (UK), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and at the University of Texas, Austin (USA). Musa M. Musa obtained his Ph.D. from University of Georgia in 2007 and then carried out a postdoctoral research at University of Minnesota. In 2009, he joined King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) as an Assistant Professor. He is currently an Associate Professor of Chemistry at KFUPM. His research interests include employing enzymes in organic synthesis. I received my PhD from Tabriz University (Tabriz, Iran) in 1996 under the supervision of Prof. S. M. Golabi in Chemistry where my doctoral thesis was on “Electrochemical Study of Catechol and some of Derivatives in Various Solvents. Application to Synthesis of some Organic Compounds”.I am the author of over 280 scholarly journal articles on organic electrochemistry, electrosynthesis (organic and inorganic), environmental electrochemistry and electroanalytical chemistry.

Dr. Collins Obuah completed his secondary school education in 2000 from Adisadel College,cape coast, Ghana. He then proceeded to University of Ghana in 2002, where he obtained a BSc Honors (Second Class Upper division) degree in chemistry in the year 2006. He obtained his MSc degree in chemistry (Cum Laude) in 2012. He continued his studies as a PhD student and currently is a lecturer at the department of chemistry, University of Ghana. Dr. Obuah has won several awards including the prestigious SACI-Sasol post graduate medal of excellence and 67th Lindau Noble Laureate Meeting.

Dr. Rajendra P. Pawar is working as the Head and Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Deogiri College Aurangabad. He has been working in this profession since last 29 years. His research areas of interest include synthetic organic chemistry, green chemistry, heterogeneous catalysis, synthesis of biologically active heterocyclic compounds etc. He has around 160 publications in various journals of national and international repute having more than 2300 citations on his credit. He has completed two minor and one major research project funded by UGC, New Delhi, India.

Dr. Franc Perdih obtained his Diploma and PhD from University of Ljubljana, Slovenia (during that time he was also an exchange student at Technical University Munich, Germany). After his postdoctoral research at the University of California at Berkeley, he then moved back to University of Ljubljana in 2004. Dr. Perdih is currently an associate professor for inorganic chemistry and in the year 2013 received the Best Teacher Award. His current research interests are: V and Zn coordination compounds with potential antidiabetic action and the use of X-ray crystallography to study weak intermolecular interactions in connection with supramolecular chemistry and crystal architecture of organic and coordination compounds.

Dr. Fabrizio Pertusati obtained his Ph.D. degree (2006) in Synthetic and Organic Chemistry from the School of Chemistry, Cardiff University, UK. Since May 2011, Dr. Pertusati is a Research Fellow in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Cardiff University. His skills and expertise mainly lie in the subject areas of DNA, Organic Synthesis, Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, HIV, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Heterocyclic Chemistry, etc. Dr. Pertusati, as an author/co-author, has published more than 25 articles in various journals.

In the last four years the interest of Claudio Pettinari has moved to new frontiers and emerging research fields as those represented by MOFs (Metal-Organic Frameworks) and PCPs (porous coordination polymers) mainly based on heterocyclic N-donor ligands, as perspective materials for gas-sensors, luminescence, catalysis and biological activity. Finally he has reported relevant studies on solution behavior and solid-state structures of a number of Ru(arene) complexes as also on their uses as biological models in bioinorganic and bio-organometallic chemistry.

Dr. Anjanapura V. Raghu is currently a Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Center for Emerging Technology, School of Engineering & Technology, Jain Global Campus. He did his M.Sc. in Polymer Science from University of Mysore, Mysore, India in 1996 and Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from Center of Excellence in Polymer Science, Karnatak University, India in 2006. Dr. Teodorico C. Ramalho obtained his BSc in Chemistry from the University of Brasília in 1999 and his Master Degree in Chemistry from the Military Institute of Engineering (IME) Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 2001. He received his PhD in chemistry from IME and was a doctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute fur Kohlenforshung in 2004. Dr. D. P. S. Rathore FICS FRSC (b. March 27,1955) did his Ph.D. Chemistry (1981) from A.M.U., Aligarh, India. He joined Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research in 1981and now superannuated as Scientific Officer-G. He was involved as Incharge in setting up of new chemical laboratories. He has contributed significantly in the development of new methods for the determination of Uranium, Chromium, Manganese, Cerium, Zirconium, Vanadium, Calcium, Magnesium and Nitrite. He has investigated new chelating polymeric resins as metal ion extractant. Dr Rathore has pioneered in developing reference measurement procedures for uranium determination in diverse matrices.

Nino Russo received his Degree in Chemistry at University of Rome in December 1971 and after he was a postdoc in University of Groningen (The Netherlands) and Universite' de Montreal (Canada). From 1981 to 1994 he has been associated professor of Theoretical Chemistry and since 1995 he is full professor of General and Inorganic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies of University of Calabria . He was invited professor at Universite' de Provence, Universite' Pierre and Marie Curie and Universite' de Grenoble (France). His research activity is devoted to the development and application of theoretical methods with particular interest in the density functional ones. N.R. is author or co-author of more than 400 publication and co-editor of six books.

Dr. Saha did his B.Sc (H) in Chemistry & M.Sc from Visva-Bharati, a central university of India founded by Noble laureate R. N. Tagore. He did his Ph.D on electron transfer reaction under the guidance of Prof. Asim K. Das of Visva Bharati. Dr. Saha joined Burdwan University as an assistant professor in 2005. He was the recipient of the prestigious BOYSCAST fellowship, 2008-2009 by DST, India to carry out advance research in UBC, Vancouver, Canada with Prof. Chris Orvig. Dr. Saha has research interest in synthetic application of micellar catalysis, bioremediation of toxic metals & inorganic reaction mechanism.

Mohamed Z.M. Salem, born in Alexandria, Egypt on June 30, 1977, is working as an associate professor at Forestry and Wood Technology Department, Faculty of Agriculture (El–Shatby), Alexandria University. He has many published international articles in the field of formaldehyde emission from wood and wood based panels, natural extracts and essential oils, antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant bio-agents.

Dr. Samanidou obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She is Full Professor in the Department of Chemistry of the University of Thessaloniki, at the Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry. She has published more than 160 original research articles in peer reviewed journals and 50 reviews and chapters in scientific books. H-index 32 (Scopus January 2019). She is member of editorial board of more than 10 scientific journals and she has reviewed almost 500 manuscripts in more than 100 scientific journals. She was also guest editor in several special issues in scientific journals. Recently she was listed within the Top 50 Women with high impact in Analytical Chemistry. Power list 2016 was created by The Analytical Scientist Magazine by Texere Publishing. She is currently the President of the Division of Central and Western Macedonia of the Greek Chemists’ Association.

Nasrin Shadjou received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from K.N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. She currently is an assistant professor of Nanochemistry at Department of Nanochemistry, Nano Technology Research Center, Urmia University. She is a Researcher with over 145 publications and research interests in nano-catalyst and nanomaterial based electrochemistry. Her research interests include the preparation of metal silica mesoporous and graphene quantum dot materials in particular smart silica materials, and their applications in health science and environmental technology.

Dr. Ahmed Esmail Shalan is currently working as a researcher at Central Metallurgical R&D Institute, Egypt after finishing his PhD. He had obtained his PhD (2017) from the Research Institute for Electronic Science, Hokkaido University, Japan (Prof. Dr. Hiroaki Misawa with the collaboration of Prof. Dr. Eric Diau -NCTU- Taiwan). He has published around 30 papers in highly reputed journals (with h index of 14) and 6 book chapters so far.

Dr Hafiz Suleria is currently working as Honorary Fellow in the Diamantina Institute - Faculty of Medicine, The University of Queensland, Australia. Previously, he has been awarded an International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) and Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) for his PhD research at UQ School of Medicine, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) in collaboration with Commonwealth, Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO, Australia). His major research focus was on food science and nutrition particularly in screening of bioactive molecules - isolation, purification and characterization using various cutting-edge techniques from different plants, marine and animal sources followed by their in vitro bioactivity, in vivo, cell culture and animal modeling. He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed scientific papers in different reputed/impacted journals.

Dr. Sun obtained a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics from Tongji University, China in 2009. He joined Jinggangshan University, Jiangxi Province, China, as a faculty member of Department of Physics. He is a full Professor of Jinggangshan University in 2017. He has published more than fifty scientific papers and is a named inventor of seven issued patents. His research interest focuses on glass scintillators and related luminescent materials.

Dr hab. inż. Karolina Wieszczycka is academic staff of Poznan University of Technology, Institute of Chemical Technology and Engineering. In 2000 she graduated from Poznan University of Technology, Faculty of Chemical Technology. In 2004 she defended PhD thesis in the branch of chemical technology. She habilitated at the Poznan University of Technology in 2015 with a thesis "Hydrophobic oximes of alkyl-pyridyl ketones as extractants of copper(II), zinc(II), cadmium(II), iron(III), nickel(II) and cobalt(II) ions from different aqueous solutions". K. Wieszczycka specializes in the design, synthesis, characterization and application of extracting agents for metals separations and recovery.

Zhengjin Yang, obtained his PhD degree from Tsinghua University in 2014 and then he conducted two years of postdoctoral research in University of Science and Technology of China. From 2016 to 2017, he joined the Harvard School and Engineering and Applied Science as postdoctoral research fellow and nominated as Associate in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering. Currently, he is an associate professor of University of Science and Technology of China. His research interests covered several important fields in both chemistry and energy-related process, for instance the preparation and modification of polymeric membranes, polymers of intrinsic microporosity, redox flow batteries, .

Dr. Shin-ichi Yusa is a native of Japan and received B.S. (1993) and M.S. (1995) degrees in polymer chemistry from Osaka University under the direction of Professor Mikiharu Kamachi and Professor Yotaro Morishima. He received a Ph.D. from Osaka University (2000) for a thesis. He joined Himeji Institute of Technology as an assistant professor in 1997. He became associate professor of University of Hyogo (2008). His research interests are in controlled radical polymerization and characterization of water-soluble polymers. He is currently on the associate editor of Polymers (MDPI Publishing), and the editorial board member of more than 20 journals.

Ehsan Nazarzadeh Zare is Assistant Professor in Polymer Chemistry at Damghan University, Damghan-Iran. He received his B.Sc. (2006) in Pure Chemistry in Lorestan University, Iran and received M.Sc. (2009) and Ph.D (2015) degrees in Polymer Chemistry in Urmia University and University of Mazandaran, Iran, respectively. Also, from May 2015 until May 2016, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Mazandaran, Iran. His current research interests include Biosensors, Conductive polymers and nanocomposites, Chelating polymers for removal heavy metals ions, Synthesis of nanostructures and dyes and Synthesis of nanocomposite as an anticorrosion coating.

Zhaoke Zheng is now a Full Professor of State Key Laboratory of Crystal Materials, Shandong University. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2012 at Shandong University, and joined Osaka University as JSPS Fellow in 2015. Afterwards, he joined the University of New South Wales as a postdoc and later moved to University of Konstanz as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow. He has published over 40 SCI- indexed papers on J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Nano Energy et al., including 6 ESI Highly Cited Papers. These papers received 2559 SCI citations. He was invited to write 2 English academic monographs and invited to give 4 oral talks in international conferences. A number of awards and fellowships have been awarded to him, such as Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Fellowships of Germany, JSPS Researcher of Japan, the Young Scholar of Distinction from the Ministry of Education, the Second-class Award of Science and Technology from Shandong Province and the Second-class Award of the Excellent Achievement from the Ministry of Education, etc.

Dr. Fei Zhou is now a full professor in State Key Laboratory of Mechanics and Control of Mechanical Structures and College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He received his Ph.D in materials science from Zhejiang University in 1998, and then finished his postdoctoral research in Kyungpook National University (South Korea) in 2002 and Tohoku University (Japan) in 2005 (supported by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science). His research field covers the tribology and corrosion of hard coatings in water environments and green synthesis of electrode for lithium ion battery. He published more than 100 international journal papers.

Professor Victor Starov, Ph.D., D.Sc. fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He is a Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Loughborough University, UK. Victor is involved in research related to kinetics of wetting and spreading. He has contributed more than 250 scientific papers and he is also a member of editorial board of 10 Journals.

Dr. László Szilágyi has got Ph.D. in Chemistry from University L.Kossuth, Debrecen, Hungary. He was postdoc with Jean-Marie Lehn in Strasbourg and with Oleg Jardetzky at Stanford.He was principal investigator in several national and some EU-funded research projects since 1985. He had international collaborations with groups in Orsay, Bochum, Zagreb, Madrid, Ljubljana, CapeTown, Buenos Aires, Bangalore, etc.; currently having projects with partners in Munich, Montevideo and elswhere. Prof. Mu. Naushad is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Ning Wei is currently a Staff Scientist University of Pittsburgh & UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. She obtained her Master of Medicine (Pharmacognosy) from Liaoning Medical University & Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Science in 2007. Later, she received her PhD (Cancer Pharmacology) from Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College in 2011. Dr. Wei’s research interests include Investigate the biological role of PKD2 in human colorectal cancer and Discovery of novel anti-tumor agents from Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicines.

Dr. A. Kumar is presently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the faculty of chemical and food technology Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. He has been awarded for national scholarship program (NSP) of the Slovak Republic funded by the ministry of education, science, research and sport. His research areas of expertise include reactive extraction, applications of ionic liquids in chemical engineering, modeling & simulation, optimization, CO2 capture. His research work at VNIT Nagpur was published in peer reviewed journals and also filled one patent. He is also serving as reviewer in different scientific journals.

Shawkat Ahmed Abdel-Mohsen is a professor of organic chemistry from Assiut University, Faculty of Science. He got his B.Sc. (1988) and M.Sc. (1994) degrees from Assiut University, and completed his Ph.D. though a channel program at Hannover University, Institute of organic Chemistry, Germany under the supervision of Prof. Dr. H.M.R. Hoffmann until 2001. His Ph.D was on the synthesis of stereogenic compounds via application of Baylis-Hilmann reaction using natural products as a catalyst such as Dabco and other synthesized Cinchona alkaloids. Now, his work has centered around the design and pharmacological study of biologically active heterocycles, which obtained via multi-component and green reactions conditions.

Mohamed Ahmed Abozeid received his BSc (2008) and MSc (2012) degrees from Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, Egypt. Subsequently, he did his PhD at Osaka University, Japan from 2012 to 2016. In April 2016, he was appointed as postdoc researcher (6 Months) followed by specially appointed assistant professor (9 Months) at Osaka University. From July 2017, he started his permanent position as an assistant professor at Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, Egypt. His research interests are focused on the synthesis of medicinally active heterocycles, developments of transition metal catalyzed methodologies and asymmetric catalysis.

Dr. Ihab Mustafa Al-Masri obtained his Ph.D. degree (in 2008) in Medicinal Chemistry / Drug Design and Discovery from University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan. Dr. Al-Masri is currently Associate Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Design, as well as Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies, at Al-Azhar University, Gaza, Palestine. His research interests mainly lie in the subject areas/fields of Macrophage, Lipoproteins, Molecular Docking, Chemical Biology, Plant Extracts, Statins, QSAR, Pharmacophore Modeling, Enzyme Inhibitors, Xanthine Oxidase, etc. Dr. Al-Masri, as an author/co-author, has published more than 15 articles in various journals of international repute, having over 405 total citations.

Dr. Basu's research interest involves around different aspects of Biopharmaceuticals. He completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Pharmaceutical Technology from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India; while his PhD from the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He also worked as a Post-doctoral Research Scholar at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and NTU. Prior to joining his academic career he has also worked in the Pharmaceutical industry at different management positions. Currently he is working as a UGC-Faculty at Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal.

Dr. Hadj Benhaoua is a Professor and he teaches at all levels of graduation and Post-Graduation students in the University of Oran, Algeria. He was organizer of the First Congress of the Algerian Society (Chemistry) held in 1991 and also been a president of various organizing committees in the past. Dr. Benhaoua has around 28 publications to his credit so far.

In brief, I, Dr. Prasanta Das, am currently holding an Adjunct Faculty Position while continuing my Research Associate work at Jackson State University, Mississippi, USA. Having completed a Master’s degree from IIT Kanpur (India) and a Ph.D. degree from IIT Bombay (India), my current research interest is mainly focused on the total synthesis of biologically active natural products. A collaborative based Drug Discovery Program also becomes the part of our ongoing research interest, where we mainly target anticancer, antimalarial, and antiviral agents. Over the past 15 years, this experience has not only enabled me to publish articles and serve as a peer-reviewer for several Chemistry Journals, it has also instilled in me the capability to be established in the professional world.

Dr. Sabahattin Deniz obtained his Ph.D. degree (in 2011) in Analytical Chemistry from Marmara University (Institute of Pure and Applied Sciences), Istanbul, Turkey. Presently, Dr. Deniz is employed as Assistant Professor in the Textile Engineering Department (Faculty of Technology) at Marmara University. His skills and expertise mainly lie in the subject areas/fields of PCR, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Materials Science, Chromatography, Wastewater Treatment, Environmental Analytical Chemistry, Heavy Metal Pollution, etc. Dr. Deniz has published a number of manuscripts in various international peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Radell Echemendía Pérez obtained his Master of Science degree in 2013 from the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Havana, Havana, Republic of Cuba. Dr. Echemendía is currently an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Chemistry at University of Havana. His research interests include the following: Natural Product Synthesis, Multicomponent Reaction, Organocatalysis, Heterocyclic Chemistry, Peptide Synthesis, and Bioorganic Chemistry. Dr. Echemendía, as an author/co-author, has published a number of articles in various journals of international repute.

Dr. Khadijeh Eskandari research interests are Biosensor, Immunosensor, Nanobiothechnology, Elecchtrochemistry, biochemistry, Enzyme Kinetics and protein structure. She did BA in chemistry in 2004, MSc in analytical chemistry in 2008 and PhD in Biophysics in 2013 from Tehran University, Tehran, Iran.

I have received my PhD from Royal Veterinary College (RVC), London University, UK. Currently, I am a Professor of Anatomy and Specialist of Animal Biotechnology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt. My research focus on molecular biology, developmental biology and animal biotechnology. I have many funded projects. I am the editor in chief of Arabian Journal of Medical Sciences, editor and peer reviewer for many international journals. I have authored many peer-reviewed international research articles and international books and have honored The National Incentive Prize for Agricultural Sciences Academy of Scientific Research and Technology - ASRT (2015).

Dr. Figueira finished her PhD in Science (Chemistry) in February 2015. She has worked more than 10 years as researcher fellowship at National Laboratory for Civil Engineering – Department of Materials. During her PhD, she developed organic-inorganic hybrid sol-gel materials, doped and undoped with corrosion inhibitors; to mitigate corrosion on galvanized steel when in contact with concrete. Dr. Figueira has published more than 15 papers and 1 book chapter, where she was both the first and corresponding author. Dr. Figueira is also an active member of several scientific societies such as The Royal Society of Chemistry and an active reviewer for 30 journals overall. Currently, she is working at Engiprojects, Lda as consultant for research projects in the area of corrosion.

I received my PhD-degree in Chemometrics and Electrochemistry from Razi university (Kermanshah, Iran) in 2015 and I am also a member of Prof. Hector C. Goicoechea's research group (LADAQ), Santa Fe, Argentina. I am working with Chemometrics groups of Copenhagen and Barcelona universities and AgroParisTech (France). My research interests include applications of chemometric methods in different areas of electrochemistry and applications of chemometric methods for resolving interactions of biomacromolecules-small molecules interactions.

Dr. Mojgan Kouhnavard studied applied physics between 2007 and 2009 and received her PhD degree in chemical energy conversion and sustainable energy development from Malaysia–Japan International Institute of Technology at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2016. She is also collaborating with the Solar Energy Research Institute at the University Kebangsaan Malaysia. Currently, she is an editorial board member for the Journal of Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering. Her research interest lies in renewable energy material and devices and to study the electrochemical properties of electrodes (study of semiconductor/electrolyte, metal/electrolyte, carbon based catalyst/electrolyte interface) and their electronic properties through optoelectronic and impedance properties. Her special interest is the development of different carbon-based counter electrodes and organic dyes for dye-sensitized solar cells and quantum dot-sensitized solar cells.

Dr. Sumit Kumar received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from MDU Rohtak, India. He completed his PhD in Synthetic Organic/Medicinal Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. Currently he is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry in Central University of Haryana, India. His research interests include synthetic organic methodology, organic synthesis and catalysis, novel reactions, development of new catalytic reactions of broad synthetic utility, synthesis of molecules of pharmaceutical and biological significance, green protocols in organic synthesis. He has 14 research papers, 2 Editorial Articles, 1 opinion article and 1 Book Chapter to his credit. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of 1 national journal and editorial board member of 4 international journals.

Dr. Mirosław Kwiatkowski obtained his doctor’s degree in chemical technology from the Faculty of Energy and Fuels at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Poland. Dr. Kwiatkowski is currently affiliated with the same university, i.e. AGH University of Science and Technology, in the Faculty of Energy and Fuels. His skills and expertise mainly lie in the subject areas/fields of Material Characterization, Nanomaterials, Material Characteristics, Advanced Materials, Numerical Analysis, Nanomaterials Synthesis, Nanostructured Materials, Materials Engineering, etc. Dr. Kwiatkowski, as an author/co-author, has published more than 35 articles in various journals, having over 340 total citations.

Dr. Ruiheng Liu obtained PhD from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Science. He is presently serving as an Associate Professor of Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Science. He has contributed his valued publications in different journals. His skills and expertise are in Material characterization, Materials, X-Ray diffraction, Material Characteristics, Material Processing, Advanced Materials, XRD Analysis, Crystal Structure and Thermal Conductivity.

Dr. Jun Mei is currently an Associate Lecturer in the School of Chemistry and Physics at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia. He holds a PhD degree awarded by the Science and Engineering Faculty at QUT. His research mainly focuses on the design and synthesis of advanced materials for energy and environment-related applications, such as rechargeable batteries, smart capacitors, and green catalysis. He has published more than 20 high-quality SCI-indexed papers and received over 25 awards for his excellent academic performance.

Dr Mohammad Ali Moni is research fellow in the Cancer Research Network of Faculty of Medicine in Sydney University and bone division of Garvan Institute of Medical Research. He is also visiting research fellow in the University of Cambridge and assistant professor in the Pabna University of Science and Technology. He did his PhD in clinical bioinformatics from the University of Cambridge. He published more than 30 articles and book chapters. His research interest is Cancer and bone genetics, disease comorbidities, diseasome, co-infection and cancer, data science, AI and machine learning.

Dr. Rajeshwar Narlawar obtained his Dr. rer. nat. (Ph.D.) degree in 2008 from the Department of Chemistry, Clemens-Schöpf-Institute for Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Darmstadt, Germany. Dr. Narlawar is currently employed as a Senior Staff Scientist by VIB-Leuven, Belgium. He is working in the field of Neuroscience−Medicinal Chemistry at Janssesn Research and Development, Janssen Pharmaceutica, Beerse, Belgium, on a project in collaboration with VIB Center for Brain and Disease Research. He is leading the chemistry efforts towards the development of subcomplex selective γ-secretase inhibitors. Dr. Narlawar, as an author/co-author, has published more than 20 articles in various journals, having over 755 total citations.

Dr. Mallikarjun B. Patil completed his Ph.D. (in 2008) in Polymer Science from Karnatak University, Dharwad, India. Presently he serves as an Assistant Professor, in the P. G. Department of Chemistry, at Basaveshwar Science College, Bagalkot, India. He has 25 reputed peer-reviewed articles on his credit, has gained 08 Patents (International), and has presented his research work in more than 30 National and International Conferences/Symposiums. His areas of research interest include Polymeric Membranes and their applications in Separation and Purification Technology, Adsorption, Fuel Cells and Nanotechnology.

Dr. Ante Prkic obtained PhD in Chemistry from the faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb. Dr. Prkic has been employed at the faculty of Chemistry and Technology, University of Split. His interest is particularly in Electroanalytical methods, Atomic spectroscopy, UV/Vis spectrophotometry and Flow and Sequential injection analysis. He has been awarded the best young scientist of faculty in 2013. He has contributed many of his articles in different national and international journals. He is also a member of American Chemical Society.

Dr. E Rajkumar was born in 1979. He received his B.Sc. in 2000 and Master in 2004. He has been awarded a degree of PhD in Chemistry at Madurai Kamaraj University, India. He started his career as an Assistant Professor at VelTech University in 2013 and he then moved to Madras Christian College, University of Madras in 2014. He is presently working in the field of photochemistry of organometallic chemistry, fluorescence sensor, dendrimers, electrochemistry and polymer chemistry.

Dr. Kaniki Tumba is a senior lecturer and researcher in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Mangosuthu University of Technology where He has been a faculty member since 2011. He holds a PhD degree awarded by the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. He spent 4 months as a visiting researcher at the Applied Thermodynamics Laboratory at Warsaw University of Technology (Poland) in 2009 under the leadership of Prof U. Domanska. His research inclinations include Thermodynamics, Separation Processes and Renewable Energy systems. Dr. Tumba is also currently working on projects associated with salinity gradient energy (blue energy) generation.

Sadia Ilyas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. After receiving her M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan and University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan, respectively; she served in China as Senior Researcher at the School of Chemical Engineering and Pharmacy (Wuhan) and in Korea as Postdoctoral fellow at Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources, and in Pakistan as Assistant Professor at GC University Faisalabad. Besides the academic lecture in Inorganic Chemistry and hydrometyallurgy, her research deals with hydrometallurgical exploitation of metals from primary and secondary sources using microbial and chemical activities. She has published more than 40 research articles in peer-reviewed international journals and also authored 25books/contributed book chapters/text books/ laboratory manuals.

Dr. S.K. Upadhyay has done PhD in Chemistry. He is a DST INSPIRE Faculty at the CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, Delhi, India. Dr. Upadhyay research focus is on understanding structure and function of protein-nucleic acid complexes using high resolution NMR and other biophysical techniques. He has interdisciplinary expertise in NMR, protein NMR and Biophysical Chemistry. He is also working in the area of drug-DNA interaction, protein-protein and protein-DNA/RNA interaction, host-guest chemistry etc. Dr. Upadhyay has published peer-reviewed scientific papers in international journals and has ardent interest in teaching.

Dr. Gomathi Nageswaran obtained his Ph.D. degree (in 2009) in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. Dr. Nageswaran is currently Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, India. His skills and expertise mainly lie in the subject areas/fields of Polymers, Biomaterials, Materials Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Carbon Nanotubes, Surface Modification, Biomaterial Engineering, Atomic Force Microscopy, Surface Chemistry, etc. Dr. Nageswaran, as an author/co-author, has published a number of articles in various journals of international repute.

Dr. Chao Zhao obtained his Ph.D. degree (in 2011) in Molecular Biology from Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangzhou, China. Dr. Zhao is currently affiliated with University of California (Department of Chemistry), Davis, California, USA. His research focus is towards the following areas/fields: 1. Gut microbiota and biomics-based mechanism of hypoglycaemic effects by macroalga oligosaccharides; 2. Crystallization and mutagenesis of glycosyltransferases and carbohydrate biosynthetic enzymes; and, 3. Chemoenzymatic approaches for synthesizing structurally complex glycans. Dr. Zhao, as an author/co-author, has published more than 35 articles in various journals of international repute.

Obtained his Bachelor degree in Pharmacy and Masters degree in Applied Sciences to Health Products (2009 – 2011) from the Universidade Federal do Fluminense (2002 – 2009) and Doctoral degree in Sciences (Biotechnology) from the Universidade of Rio de Janeiro (2011 – 2014). He is currently an associate professor in –Department of Biological and Health Sciences – in the Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP). Coordinated the Post-Graduate Program in Tropical Biodiversity (Master and Doctorate degrees) (2016-2017), the Post-Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Innovation (Doctorate degree)(2019-2020) and the Post-Graduate Program – Pharmaceutical Sciences (Master degree) of the Federal University of Amapá (Universidade Federal do Amapá) – (2020-2020). He is currently the Local Vice-Coordinator in (UNIFAP) – The National Institute of Science and Technology North/Northeast Network of Phytoproducts (2016 – actual) and is pursuing the Fellowship of Research Productivity from – The National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPQ). He was awarded with the “CAPES Prizes of Thesis” in recognition of his academic doctorate thesis, which was considered the best work among all thesis defended in the year 2014 in the area of biotechnology. The thesis was related to the development of a bioactive herbal nano-emulsion. His research area involves phytopharmaceutical nanobiotechnology and areas of current interest are mainly related to the essential oils, triterpenes, flavonoids, nano-emulsions and nanodispersions.
